Monday nights!

I figure that maybe we should talk about what we want to do each monday. Saves a little bit of time and if we have something specific planned (like our trip to Aht Urgan we just did) we can figure out where to meet up ahead of time.

So tonight is Monday August 3rd. Looks like there might be an update to get ready for Sunbreeze, but I don't know how long that's going to take as realms are still down for maintaince. The festival won't trigger until 1am California time on August 4th, so I think the Festival we can do next week.

If the updates finish, what do you guys want to do tonight? Rhoa and I have the 3-1 bastok mission in Beadeux (i think that's how it's spelt) and I of course would love to level some. What about everyone else?

I'd like Frank to be on for us to do mission 3-1. We could do it tonight and then again when he is on. I just feel bad that when we were doing all the early missions, Frank was on and we didn't help him then and he hasn't really been on since. ; ;

Level - for Aenini(so much opens when you hit 30)
Get ppl to 40 for the tower climb (Rank 4 mission)

Once ppl were 30 spend time running around for Cor/Pup/Dnc/Sch jobs. (Technically you have to go to the past for Sch and Dnc, but for my case I wrote in there that Sch is still around, just hidden, so thus downplaying the 'past' part of it.

Haning out talking and RP about something somewhere...vaccation to Babiki Bay? Trip to Holaris Peak?

Or other stuff other ppl suggest work for me too. (I got my big things in Aht Urgan out of the way.)

Or doing the first Aht Urgan mission. (Which then lets you teleport to Aht Urgan for 300gil in any city you've done the Lure of the Wildcat quest)

I'm not sure if Frank will be on today, he has a temporary overnight job that he was at last night, so he may be still sleeping. T-T

I like Horlais Peak, but since next week we'll probably be doing Sunbreeze things I'd like to help Carol get to 30. Right now I have Monk at 38 so I'm near 40 myself, I will be needing to work on WAR some time after that since I think I only have it at 23.

Can I also say it would be awesome to be able to teleport to Aht Urghan, I have 2 of the Lure of the Wildcat quests finished.

Leveling is fine, finshing 3:1 is fine-I'll gladly help Gar out when he gets on. Beach party would be amusing as well.

I haven't been leveling Thief much so Aenini can catch up...but Dragoon's starting to get close. I'm not sure which one I should power burst to 40.

You guys are awesome, I think alot of us got a couple of levels last night! I don't think I'll get to 30 by next monday (as i have a LARP this weekend) but we should all be doing Sunbreeze next monday right? What city do we think we want to do that in?

I want to do Windurst since I'm bias. Everyone's a citizen of Bastok though-would they just hang around there?

Can do it in all cities. There's festival events that are different in each city. (But they cost 10gil to play)

As for goldfish scooping event, we could do that wherever. Sandy and Rabao are the funnier NPCs though.

The Sunbreeze event will be the same in all nations. However, each nation has a different minigame. After you have the HQ yukata for this year (which btw has a different pattern woot) you can teleport to the other countries. If you beat all three minigames on hard, you can get the HQ swimsuit which has the ability Teleport:Purgonorgo Isle. Me kinda wants.

I already did the yukata part because I wanted to teleport back to Windy to level my blue mage so I'll go ahead and post that for everyone else for monday.

When Mumor says "Lend me your strength." /clap and /cheer while targeted on her. You CAN use /cheer motion so you don't spam the window. It still works.

When Mumor dances to attack her foe, target Uka and do the following corresponding dance in unison with Mumor:

Shining Summer Samba = /dance1
Lovely Miracle Waltz = /dance2
Neo Crystal Jig = /dance3
Super Crusher Jig = /dance4

You CAN use motion again. It helps to have these all set to macros. If you time it correctly, the screen will say "you synchronized with Mumor!" After you sync 15 times, talk to the moogle for the first yukata. Repeat 15 times for the HQ yukata which is +goldfish scooping and allows the Port moogle to teleport you to the other nations for the minigames.

As for goldfish time, I totally vote Rabao.

So we clap and cheer more than once? and do we need to synch in one shot or can we miss a few times and it not reset?

I believe Mumor is in all three of the major towns. Could be wrong though. I hate syncing up though, i'm bad at that sort of thing, but I can give it a shot. Wants yukata!

Sounds like Rabao is the place people want to go goldfish scooping at ^.^ Where is it again? I bet Kini can make it if we all run her out there right?

Mumor's in Bastok, Windurst, and San d'Oria.

/clap and /cheer repeatedly. If Uka says "blast this incessant cheering" or whatnot, that means people aren't cheering enough so spam it (which is why it's useful to make /cheer motion and /clap motion macros... you'll do the action without crowding the text box :D) Dance macros are pretty much necessary because it happens fast.

Your sync score will not reset until you talk to the moogle so if you miss any, it's no big deal. You're gonna have to sit through the show a few times to get to 15 anyway. If you talk to the moogle before 15 syncs, he'll give you like fireworks or something and you'll have to start over from 0.

Kini can make it to Rabao if we leapfrog invis and sneak on her. It's Bastok Mines->Zeruhn->Korroloka->E Altepa->W Altepa->Rabao. It sounds farther than it is. Half of those places you can cross through fairly quickly. And most of us can raise now. ^_~

First cheer on Mumor until everyone has the HQ yukata, then we all head to Rabao for some goldfishing?

I think it's cheer until ppl get the HQ Yukata, (which most ppl already have...I know Keahi, Jestor, Aenini, Rhoa and Saehel already have it.)

And then do the festival games in each city. (Which you can warp to with the Yukata on and talking to the event Moogle)

And then end the night in Rabao for goldfish scooping and RP.

But for those of us who are on early we could do the carnival games first until someone w/o a Yukata logs in.

I hope people were productive with thier goldfish scooping!

So we talked about briefly doing Beadeaux next Monday for Rhoa and I to do the 3-1 quest (Copper Quadavs), and to try to get Humaisna and I Reraise (drops from lvl 32-39 Garnet Quadavs). Even if I don't manage to get 30 by then, I think killing 20 of the Copper Quadavs will surely put me over the edge. How does that sound to everyone else? Any other requests for activities?

Goldfish scooping was a success! Keahi is apparently VERY good at it. I ended the night with 349 points! We now have a grand total of 6 glowflies, 3 crickets, and 3 butterflies I believe. And Saehel has most of the points she needs to get the goldfish sets. Just a few more, right? I'll try to get some more for that. Then we just need to buy the lumber.

Everyone should post if/what they want so we're sure we have enough!

I'm only 1k from 39 still so I might try to ding on my own before monday. I'm game for doing the mission. And as soon as Aenini hits 30, we are SO doing the bard quest! I wants!

As for Monday, I'm good for doing the mission as soon as ppl are logged in. Then staying around to try to get RR scrolls. That would put me safely into 41.

And I know Rhoa wants to unlock bard as well. And I'll go ahead and suggest that maybe after we finish 3-1, people can do the leg work to start 3-3 "Jeuno" and we can try climbing the tower the next week. (I think with 4 people around 40 we should be able to do it for all 6 of us.)

Would trying to do the tower remotely be safe for me in the lower 30s? I know I'm just healing, but I'll still be lacking the mana to really keep up with what's probably needed.

I'd like a butterfly, but as I horribly suck at the goldfish scooping I'll take any of the cage types that are left over after everyone else gets what they want. And I'm set on a goldfish bowl since Saehel is the AWESOME.

My we're going to have lots of Bards aren't we?

You should be fine in the tower. You would be main healing, but you'd also have Keahi and Jestor who can both back you up. That and for the climb we would just sneak/invis our way up there. The only fights we'll have are on the top floor where the NM is.

The NM is level 28-30, but as an NM I always like to be over his level by a bunch.


And as for the Brd...I know Jestor and I think Humaisna already have it, so we've got half a barbershop quartet! (before any of the ladies can sing. *chuckle*)

I have enough points for nearly 6 goldfish kits. I just need to know who needs regular tanks and who needs betta tanks. I know Jestor needs a regular one and Keahi is the only one with a betta tank so far. I have one kit left over from last year, so I can make the tank for Jestor pretty easily, I just need to make more Sieglinde Putty, so if anyone has spare zinc I need zinc oxide (Goldsmithing 1 - 3xZinc Ore + fire crystal) for each putty. I have a bunch of the other stuff needed or can easily get it.

I'm going to buy up a bunch of rattan for the cages, and the dogwood lumber is really expensive right now >< over 20K a stack.

And I'm totally down for Beadeaux next week and 3-3 the week after.

I might have some zinc oxide for you. I CAN make zinc oxide, I'm just lacking fire crystals and the zinc itself. I'm not sure, I might have given them to Frank. I think I need to re-take up Goldsmithing, shouldn't I? Also I'm going to mail you my stack of Earth Crystals.

Maybe we could pool and get a stack of dogwood?

Ok so the change of plans for tonight is:

Rhoa, Keahi, and Aenini finish up Bard quest. THEN we all sit down and roleplay out whatever resolution we get from our fight.

Humai is in Sandy brooding.
Keahi is somewhere.
Jestor is at the song runes (where's he's been the past few days waiting...luckily Sae brought him food and water else he would've ran out.)
And Aenini is still in Windy I believe.

And yeah. I think that's the plan. If it goes quickly then we could shoot for adding in 3-1 or something (depending on who's still awake).

One thing to note though is Humai might not be around on Monday nights after this week because of school. (and in a few weeks I won't be online until 10:30 Eastern because of Symphony)

Keahi, Rhoa, and Aenini are all still in Windurst, but should be heading out to Jeuno when we log in.

Ok, it may be unprofessional or whatever but I've been trying to chat with some people to figure out what type of solution we want to get out of this-considering a linkshell breakup is a possability I don't think anyone ultimately wants that. From the sides of conflict I found I seriously doubt either side is going to relent easily and I don't want Jestor to have to ditch a char he likes.

I'm seriously convinced that this was a mess that started because of IC/OOC issues. Jestor's mentioned some IC things that I have absolutely no memory of. Keahi can attest to this when I say I'm not perfect but I have a pretty good memory of what events lead to what in games. If this truly was a giant mess that wouldn't have come together if the game night was more clear and organized should we just "rewind" and say that Rhoa, instead of questioning Jestor, just figured that Humaisna and jestor were...being romantic? Saehel told Rhoa that Humaisna bat for the other team but didn't tell her with who...

I thought I might have mentioned Haeru? I don't remember that well though....

Oh wait you did, but I don't think Rhoa's met Heru yet. Well there goes that idea.

Ok, Rhoa and I finished the 3-1 mission last night (though I still need to turn it in) but we didn't get a Reraise to drop. It was too tough for us to try to get to those Quadavs and still be living.

So either Monday we could go back into Beaudeux as a group and try to get Reraise for Humaisna and Aenini, or we could do something else entirely.

Thoughts?

I'd be up for whatever. I don't have any plans or goals until we're all back together as a group. Which probably won't happen until December 14. (When my fall symphony season is done and Cahte is done with her semester.)

We can still go in there to farm things since RR is not rare/ex so we can get one for Humaisna. And there are a couple Mission NMs I wouldn't mind fights. However, we have to note that whatever we do has to be able to be done with a Monk or Pup tank. Drg/Thf will not be able to get hate off the Whm after she cures a lot. So until we have someone who can pull hate (and take a hit) we should probably focus on small things.

I'm up for farming if we have a tank. The ones that drop ReRaise also drop pieces of the Wool robe set i'd like ^.^ And some of those NM drop nice stuff as well.

If we don't have a tank, what else would everyone like to do?

If Amanda is on we can probably start getting her subjob items in the next couple weeks. Brandon will also be joining us starting Monday I think, and he is around the same level range.

Gotcha. So sounds like if we have new ppl we can work on helping them back in the Dunes again.

Or if things aren't patched up, then Jestor can help them in the Dunes while Rhoa and others do something else.

Or visa virsa, depends on how we organize the groups and who needs DPS and healing.

Actually I was thinking of it ICly. Jestor would be more inclined to help people out than do 'other'.

And to Sae...Humai has a lot more Armor than you at this level.

Strange enough, Rhoa's the type that likes to help out too.

I so wanted to get on last night to work on leveling, I had planned that like the entire day. But if you heard anything from Mish, last night was um.. pretty dramatized. I don't get out til late tonight (10 est) I'm still only like lvl 15 >.<

Well we could always all just head to the Dunes and help you level And if Brandon is around the same level that should help him out too. I bet we could get a few lvls for you.

PUP 30! I can't believe it took me 3 years to get Monk to 30 but like 3 months to get PUP to 30. I'm really grateful to all of you for helping me out so much! ^__^
