It would probably depend on who's online, but my guess is leveling.

I'd love to have us start working on Rank 5 and the airship pass so (1) we can fly from city to city, and (2) Huami can finally ditch us and go back to Sandy.

Only bad thing about switching is he'll have to go through the tower and the Rank 5 mission again to do the Rank 6 mission. And Rank 6 is what opens up the Rize of the Zilart expansion story (and more maps). That and should we ever want to do any nation stories then we can't help him and he can't help us as those are limited to people of that nation or have done that mission before. But on the flip side, we're not even to level 50 yet and I know we're going to spend a lot of time on the AF quests so I really doubt we'll get to the final missions for each nation.

However Rhoa is still Rank 3 and couldn't do those missions unless we did the tower. (Which he might be able to solo now that he's in the 50s or solo with someone who can cast sneak/invis on him to make the climb faster.) And also Coravin isn't even 30 yet, and I know we'd like to get her to 30 so she can start working on the Summoner quest.

I'm up for whatever, my biggest goal atm is working on the Shantotto expansion (on the final fight) but since I can't do that with all of you I'm open to whatever. But leveling looks to be the best option in my mind.

Humai is already rank 5. My plan was to get to rank 5 in Sandy as well, then switch back to Bastok to do missions when the crew was ready. However, Karst is a bastard and tricked Humai into accepting the Rank 6 mission, which can't be soloed.

But yeah, Humaisna isn't ditching Bastok for good; he feels obligated to help them now. He's just gonna switch off.

I'm up for anything really. Missions would be cool. I volunteer to help Rhoa do the tower. I explored the other day, so I remember the route.

I want everyone to get to the the rank 5 mission and experience the creepiness that is the archduke of Jeuno. Man... he makes Humai uncomfortable.

Also, Humai rode the airship from Jeuno to Bastok and went on the topdeck and only freaked out a little. Be proud of him.

I never knew you got Rank 5. Were you able to solo all of it? (I'll probably go ahead and do that on Jestor. Was waiting for the group to be ready, but he could really really use the airship since we normally hang out in Bastok, but I check the Clothcraft guild in Windy and the AH in Jeuno.)

The Rank 5-1 mission fight is a pain in the rear. It's lv50 capped against skeletons. If you could find a lv50+ Monk then I could help Whm the fight. Well, we'd still need 5 to 6 people. Just don't accept the next one after that as I don't think we can fight the Shadow Lord until people are close to 60.

I'm still wanting to level Sch and Blm. Although I think we'd need more damage than last week to pull off any leveling.

Ever since we've moved to Wed we haven't had many people online and the purpose of moving to Wed is we all had that night free.

I know the move is happening, but I was under the impression that Cathe and Kristy and Carol were still going to be around during the move. (Based on what Cathe was saying in another post.)

Spoke with Cathe and she won't be on next Wed (12/9).

So did we want to just skip next week and then start up again on the 16th?

Sorry, since Kristy was up here and I had a load of her and Cathe's stuff in my car, I went over yesterday to unpack it. That and I think my PC is dying and im trying to keep it off *sigh*. I'm looking around to see if i can buy a new one soon.

I should be clear on wensdays until the 23rd. I'm probably going to drive down to my parents again that wensday to spend Christmas with them.

Yeah. I had said K and I would be around during the move. But I was just thinking about the fact that we would have internet during that time, not the fact that I'm in finals and K's moving shit. So I won't be around next week because I have a final the next day (and if I show up, make me leave!) ^_^

And I'm guessing the same from K, since her facebook said she's going to be in Maretta all week and then getting the last of your stuff over the weekend/early next week.

I haven't moved over gear yet, so I'm open for skipping a week and then having everyone back the following week.

Talked with Aenini and she says her computer is fine, so I'll move my stuff over to tank on Wed.


Did we want to do Field Manuals in Qufim, or try to fight Mandies in the jungle? I'd vote fr Qufim beacause Mandies eat through shadows and my tank is Nin.

Where ever as long as I can get there. I belive Im in Bastok right now, I'll have to start up the game early to check for a patch though.

Yeah, there is a patch, took about 20-30 min for it to install.

And Hmmm. Looking at things another option could be spiders in Altepa. That's right off Bastok (through the tunnel) and there's a book right at that entrance.

Another note is if we did FoV in Yatunga Jungle it needs mandies and lizards. And both Jestor and Aenini could use the slab of Elshimo Marble that drops for the White Mage Teleport Yhoat spell quest (lv38 spell). However those might be harder than the spiders.

So I'd rank them like this.
A) Crabs in Qufim
Pro: Easy kill, right off of Jueno.
Con: Too easy (Crab are upper 20s in level) so most of the exp would come from field manual.

B) Spiders in Altepa
Pro: Just the right level to fight. Can get there from Bastok easily.
Con: Slow. The spider web will cast slow making recast times bad and thus tank will need more healing.

C) Mandy/Lizard in Yutunga
Pro: Maybe find straglers and fill up party. Fighting lizards gives drops for White Mage Quest.
Con: Mandies are monks and will go through shadows 'very fast'. So lots of healing needed.


If it's just me and Aenini then definatly Qufim. If Rhoa makes it then I think we could try the spiders as we'd need the damage.
Nek - tank, Aenini - heal, Jestor - nuke: can work on crabs, but I think we'd need a meele to do the spiders.

When I transferred jobs, I was so excited to have a job that I forgot to ask for Wednesday nights off. /stupid.

I'll ask after working this current schedule. Current schedule is as follows: I'll be online the 16th, working the 23rd, and online the 30th.

Brandon has Michelle's old schedule, since he took her job when she moved, so he's off Wednesday and Thursday. He and I are going to be working on getting him up to 18 on Tuesday (he's at 16 now) and getting his subjob items on Thursday, so he may be free to RP with you guys on Wednesday. He's from Sae's San d'Oria side of the family.

Li'Telor seems to be owned by us if you guys are looking for more outposts, not sure who has it. Also, we're no. 1!

So anyone have any interests for this wednesday? Anything you guys wanna RP or should we just grind a little more?

Though were we thinking about doing the holiday stuff or has everyone finished it already?

I know Keahi and Humaisna were doing it before and I know Jestor/Nekaru are part of the way through. I'm not sure if any of them completed it yet.

Coravin is level 30 now and has her Kazham keys. She just needs to trigger the Summoner quest and collect her weather.

Brandon says he will be on this week so you guys get to meet Sae's cousin Lynku. ^__^ He still needs to level so we can probably split up into Coravin SMN people and low-level partying with Lynku.

How low level? I can stay WM or level my BM sub some more if it's close to that.

I believe Lynku is around 16 or 17. So yeah, you could level Blm.

I know Nek told Cor that she would help with the summoner stuff, so I'll have Nek doing that with Cor.

Then if the dunes party is not full, I'll send Jestor out there. If it is full (if no one else goes with Nek and Cor or not everybody logs in because we have 9 now), I'll have him go with Nek and Cor. If there's an opening I'll have him join the dunes party.

If I may offer a word of caution, I know you have trouble working with Jestor and Nekaru when they're together and I understand you won't be doing much fighting with Nek but would you be ok Rping with one character and fighting with the other in different areas? If so more power to ya, just making note...

Far as subs go the only thing that level range is MNK but that's not something I expected to level, I'll see if I can't get another job somewhat close to that but otherwise I may just level synch SAM or something like that.

Also, why isn't he registered on the forum yet?

Letting you all know I won't be there this wed. Travel issues have come up and I most likely won't get back until midnight or later.

My wed. nights have been getting a little busy lately, I was curious if by chance there was another day everyone was free for FFXI? I understand scheduling for wed is probably easier, just I may wind up being late some weeks.

My two free nights are Tues and Wed right now.

For me I have my availability through work set to Wednesday nights off. I do get other nights off but it isn't ever consistent from week to week. I do get on sometimes Thursday nights if I don't have to work.

I work Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and usually don't get home until 9 or 10. That being said, I never have anything to do the next day, so I could stay up late if I wasn't too tired from work.

Which you usually are.
